Alumni HighNotes

Children who grow up in an enriched music environment are better able to understand and enjoy music for the rest of their lives.  An added benefit of The Music Class experience is greater ease and success when learning how to play an instrument.  The following alumni are perfect examples of that kind of success:

Andres Rovira, Music Pups and Keyboard Class graduate.  As a high school sophomore Andres was selected to play with the Georgia All State Jazz Band.  They take only one piano player in the state - so this is quite an accomplishment.  Bravo Andres!

Elijah Feldman, aka E-Dirty is a Music Pups and Keyboard alum. At 17 years old, Elijah is a hip hop artist who has released his first CD, "FutureTrippin" and is performing at Atlanta venues such as the Apache Cafe and the Center Stage Theater.

Jody Chamberlain is a Music Pups and Keyboard class grad.  At 15 he is lead singer and keyboardist in an award-winning Rock Band called 38th Parallel. Recently the band came in 2nd in the Atlanta Blues Challenge as well as coming away with the first prize in the Dekalb School of the Arts Talent Show. Jody also plays guitar and writes his own music.

Do you know a music class graduate who has received musical honors? We'd love to acknowledge their accomplishments. Submit your information here.

I signed up for class because I received it as a gift from a friend. My son was six months old and I really thought he was too young for it. However, I have completely changed my mind after seeing him blossom in the class. At the beginning I didn't think he was absorbing anything, but after a few classes I could tell that he recognized the songs. If he was screaming in the car, I could put on the CD and immediately he would stop crying and listen to the songs.
