Consider the songs on the CD as a musical starting point.  We encourage you to change songs as you like to make them more meaningful to you and your child.

It’s easiest for us to learn when what we are learning relates in some way to our life.  In educational jargon, we call this “meaningful context”. 

In music, we can make songs meaningful by singing about places we’ve been, friends & family members, daily routines or special events in our lives.

In the video below, the teacher asks the children to suggest a favorite instrument, which they then sing about.
